Jerry’s Seafood on Second Street in Lewes has carved out a niche with a wide variety of fresh fish and popular dishes in the First Town in the First State. But that’s not all! This year Jerry’s is going all-out to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The celebratory menu includes favorites like lollipop lamb chops decorated with a fig and raisin chutney, steak au poivre drizzled with a delicate brandy/mustard sauce, and a savory 8oz tenderloin presented Oscar-style with asparagus, jumbo lump crab and hollandaise. These and all the entrees include your choice of light and fluffy jasmine rice or potatoes dauphinoise infused with gruyere and garlic. Pair them with either brussel sprouts or snow peas. Reservations are strongly suggested. Each and every one of Jerry’s New Year’s Eve offerings comes with a side of live music from Savannah, performing from 6 until 10pm.
Located in the same building, Blue Sea Café offers a variety of healthy, home-cooked breakfasts, gourmet sandwiches and market-fresh salads. (Don’t miss the crunchy Thai salad!) Jerry’s features live music from 6 ‘til 9 every Friday, and on Saturdays from 6 until 9. The music varies from artist to artist - jazz, blues, rock ‘n’ roll. The musicians are awesome to listen to, dance to and sing with if you wish! Enjoy discounted drinks, appetizers and raw bar items during weekday happy hours from 3 - 6 p.m. The large bar offers a wide selection of draft and bottled beers as well as fine wines, fun martinis and other liquors.
